We Will Have a New Type of fall Festival in 2022

What We Are Doing

Join us on Saturday October 2, at the Peekskill Riverfront Green for a Country Fair and Virtual Horse Show sponsored by the Peekskill Rotary. The 51^st Annual Horse Show will be shown virtually this year via large screens under the pavilion. There is no entrance fee and the event is from 9 am – 5 pm, rain or shine.

Attractions include live music, kids' entertainment, food trucks, raffles, craft vendors, silent auction, pumpkin painting, horse themed children's games, arts and crafts, bike skills rodeo, country maze and more. The "Kountry Kitchen" will be selling apple pies, cider donuts, popcorn, apples, cider, lemonade and other delectable treats.

Instead of our usual printed journal with ads, we are offering local businesses an online version that links back to their website or destination of choice.

What We Do

— Food Initiative

Since the pandemic started months ago we have been involved with several meal distribution programs in our community.

— Scholarship Programs

Each year the Peekskill Rotary Club awards a total of nine different scholarships to the Peekskill High School, Hendrick Hudson High School and Panas High School.

— Plant Trees

Staring in 2016 we started planting cherry trees at the Peekskill Riverfront Green Park. In 2019 we planted the final 20 bringing the total to 100 trees planted, celebrating our 100th Anniversary.

— International Projects

Three international projects we supported last year were Rotary's End Polio Now project, ShelterBox and Gift of Life. With the donation we made to Gift of Life they were able to provide life saving heart surgery for three children.
